Nadifloxin (Nadoxin) is a broad spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that targets aerobic Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria, including P. acnes and Staphylococcus species. Several studies show that it is as effective as topical erythromycin in treating acne and with lesser microbial resistance.

Clindamycin Phosphate (Clinderm) is a lincomycin antibiotics usually used for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. It works  by inhibiting the  protein synthesis of P. acnes bacteria when it binds the subunit of the bacterial ribosome.

Fusidic Acid (Fuson) is a bacteriostatic topical that targets Staphylococcus species, Corynebacterium, some Clostridium species, and even Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Silver Sulfadiazine (Synvodex, Silvex) is especially used for thermal or chemical burn wounds.

It targets a wide range of susceptible bacteria and even fungi. This is used topically and applied  approximately 1/16 inch on all affected areas. Use sterile gloves when applying and wash hands throughly after using Synvodex or Silvex. It comes in jar and tube sizes.

Clotrimazole (Canison) 100mg vaginal tablet is primarily used for diagnosed vaginal yeast infection. It is inserted deep within the vaginal canal for 3 to 6 consecutive days as prescribed by the physician.

Fluconazole (Flucon) 150 mg is an oral preparation used to treat yeast infections like Candidiasis in the mouth,throat, vagina, or other parts of the body. In immunocompromised patients, this azole antifungal can be used as prophylaxis and treatment for Coccidioidomycosis, Cryptococcosis, and Histoplasmosis.

Miconazole Nitrate (Micoson) is an imidazole anti-fungal which is used topically for treating skin infections like jock itch, ringworm, athlete’s foot, and other fungal infection caused by dermatophytes and yeasts.

Topical steroids are classified according to their strength and potency. They are used for treating corticosteroid responsive dermatoses such as eczema, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and other auto-immune diseases. Ambica offers topical steroids with varying strength and potency for various indication.

Aciclovir, a synthetic nucleoside analogue, is an antiviral that is used for diseases caused by Herpes Simplex Virus and Varicella Zoster Virus. Diseases like chicken pox, shingles, and herpes ulcers may benefit from Aciherpin. It offers not cure but may be used as prophylaxis, to shorten the duration, or lessen the severity of herpes/varicella infection. Aciherpin comes in tablet form and topicalpreparation. Aciherpin tablet is taken by mouth with a glass of water with or without food. It is used for short-course treatment of various viral diseases.

Topical Aciherpin is used to treat skin herpes sores, chicken pox lesions and can alleviate symptoms such as itch, pain, tingling, and burning due to herpes blisters.

Diclofenac Sodium (Diclogen) is a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is very helpful in relieving muscular aches, osteoarthritic pains, and other musculoskeletal disorders. It may be applied three to four times or as directed by physician.
